How it works

From first message to fully dialled in.

Every rig follows the same path, whatever the spec. Six steps, start to finish, with nothing skipped in between.

  1. 1

    Request

    Enquiry

You get in touch with how you race, your space, and your budget. That kicks the whole thing off.

  2. 2

    Discovery

    Plan

They work out what the rig actually needs to do for you before a single part gets named.

  3. 3

    Spec

    Part picking

Every component picked around your driving and your discipline, not whatever's on the shelf.

  4. 4

    Proposal

    Quote

Now the proper one. A detailed quote built to your spec, with nothing hidden in it.

  5. 5

    Sign-off

    Final approval

You go through it together, change anything that needs changing, and sign off when it's right.

  6. 6

    White-glove

    Delivery & install

Built in Dublin, shipped worldwide, and set up in your space. Dialled into your driving, with support after.

Why I trust them

Why I trust Sim Consultants.

I'm a full-time simracer and content creator, so the gear I sit in front of every day has to earn its place. For me that means one thing: reliability.

And my setup is not a simple one. Two PCs, multiple screens, a serious amount of wiring, plus a full studio around it (lighting, mics, speakers, teleprompters, live stream control). I needed it all assembled in a modular way that worked around the way I actually use it.

That's where Sim Consultants came in. They helped me put the whole thing together and configure it exactly to suit me. I couldn't have been happier, so much so that I now work with them on builds, sharing ideas and design experience.

These are the people I trust to get a simulator set up properly, and I recommend them without hesitation.

I work with Sim Consultants and earn from sales made through this page. The price is the same to you either way.

Start the conversation

Tell them about your build.

A few details so they can come back to you with something useful. Nothing here is mandatory beyond the basics. The more you share, the better the first call.

Bonus

A free Stream Deck on every custom rig.

Sim Consultants are kindly throwing one in with any rig built through this page.

Elgato Stream Deck included with every custom rig

Takes about a minute, and there's no hard sell at the end of it. Just a proper conversation about your build.

Before you ask

The questions everyone has.

How long does a build take?

It depends on the spec and what's in stock, so there's no one-size answer. They'll give you a realistic timeline on the first call once they know what you're after. Nothing gets rushed, and nothing turns up flat-packed.

Do they ship and install outside Ireland?

Yes. They build in Dublin and deliver worldwide, with on-site assembly in your own space. Shipping and install are quoted as part of your build, so you see the full picture before anything is agreed.

What does it cost, and how does payment work?

Every rig is custom, so the price tracks the spec. Pop your budget on the form and they'll build to it rather than over it. For payment options, just ask on your first call.

What hardware do they build with?

Proper kit, matched to how you drive: wheelbase, pedals, screens or VR, the lot. They're not tied to one brand, so the spec is built around you instead of whatever happens to be on the shelf.

Can I see one before I commit?

They're based out of Drift Games HQ in Dublin, so ask about coming in to sit in one. Can't get there? The walkthrough up top gives you a proper feel, and the first call answers anything it doesn't.

What happens after it's installed?

They don't disappear once it's in. There's an on-site handover where they dial the rig into your driving, then ongoing remote support, available long after that.
