Pimax Black Friday 2026.
The dates, and what's covered.

The sale runs 16 November to 5 December, and orders from 1 November are covered if the price drops. So this page is less about waiting and more about which headset. I race in the Dream Air, and it's about to have its first ever sale.

Right now

The dates, before anything happens.

The sale starts 16 November and runs to 5 December. From 1 November orders through the links on this page are covered by price protection, and from 9 November the store covers every order itself.

Before 1 November nothing is covered: an order placed now is at today's price, full stop. The code takes 2% off today as it always does, and it comes off the sale price too.

The dates

From Pimax, 2026

  1. 1 November

    Price protection opens

Orders through my links are covered from today if the Black Friday price is lower.

  2. 9 November

    Pimax publish their own programme

From here the store covers every order, not only the ones through my links.

  3. 16 November

    The sale goes live

Price cuts on headsets and free shipping.

  4. 27 November

    Black Friday

Same prices as the 16th. Nothing new lands on the day.

  5. 30 November

    Cyber Monday

Still the same sale, still the same code.

  6. 5 December

    Last day

Prices go back up the morning after.

Price protection

Price protection, in plain English.

Normally a sale on the way means an early order is a gamble. This year Pimax are covering early orders. From 1 November, an order placed through the links on this page is covered, and from 9 November the store covers every order itself. If the Black Friday price on 16 Nov turns out lower than what was paid, the buyer contacts Pimax Support and they refund the difference. Store credit or cash, under their policy.

What that means in practice: an order before the sale ends up at the sale price either way, and arrives sooner. What it doesn't get is the free shipping, which only runs during the sale window. Those are the facts, and the call is yours.

How a claim works

  1. 1

Order through a link on this page

From 1 November an order placed through the links on this page is covered. From 9 November the store covers every order itself. The last covered day is 15 November. The links tag the order to the channel and the Dream Air ones pre-fill the code.

  2. 2

    Keep the order number

The confirmation email has it. That number is the whole claim, so don't lose it.

  3. 3

Check the price on 16 Nov

The table on this page shows every headset at its Black Friday price the morning the sale lands. Compare it with what you paid.

  4. 4

If it's lower, contact Pimax Support

Send them the order number. They refund the difference as store credit or cash, under their own policy.

Practical

This is between you and Pimax. I don't sit in the middle of it and I can't see your order, so go straight to their support with the number and keep it factual. Their policy, their refund.

Which headset

Five headsets, one honest line on each.

A sale doesn't change which headset suits you, it only changes what it costs. Specs below are the ones Pimax publish, the opinions are mine, and the full write-up of each is on the Pimax headsets page.

Pimax Dream Air VR headsetMy go-to

Dream Air

The one I grab. Under 170 grams, Sony micro-OLED, and it sits on your head until you forget it's there. This is the first time it has ever been in a sale, which is the whole reason this page exists.

PracticalHeadset only if you already have Lighthouse base stations. The SLAM version with the controllers if you don't, and that's the one I tested.

Pimax Dream Air SE VR headset

Dream Air SE

The Dream Air's shape at the Crystal Light's money. Fewer pixels, same tiny footprint, same micro-OLED. If weight is what has kept you off VR and the full Dream Air is too dear, this is the answer.

PracticalNo price cut on this one. The free shipping is the whole saving, so the sale dates don't change what the headset itself costs.

Pimax Crystal Light VR headsetBest value

Crystal Light

The sensible one. Native 4K per eye, glass lenses, local dimming, controllers in the box, at the price that makes VR simracing an actual conversation. Most people should start here.

PracticalA cut on top of a price that was already fair is hard to argue with. If you're new to PCVR, this is where I'd point you.

Pimax Crystal Super VR headset

Crystal Super

The Light's bigger brother. More pixels per eye than most GPUs know what to do with, and the Ultrawide engine if field of view is the thing you want. I had the Ultrawide on loan and wrote it up.

PracticalOnly with a current high-end card. It held 90 fps on an RTX 5080 for me. On anything older you'll be turning things down to get there.

Pimax Crystal Super 8K Micro-OLED VR headsetMicro-OLED

Crystal Super 8K Micro-OLED

The Super with the Sony panel. Proper blacks, which matters more than you'd think for night races and dark cockpits. The dearest headset here, so a cut lands hardest on this one.

PracticalSame GPU rule as the Super. If you race a lot of night sessions, the panel is the difference you'll actually see.

Practical

The GPU is the part people forget. Every Pimax here renders more pixels than a flat screen, the Supers a lot more. If your card is a generation or two old, the Crystal Light or the Dream Air SE will give you a better race than a Super you have to throttle.

FAQ

Pimax Black Friday, answered.

If your question isn't here, the Discord is the fastest way to reach me.

Is there a Pimax Black Friday sale in 2026?

Yes. It runs 16 November to 5 December, with price cuts on the headsets and free shipping. Orders placed from 1 November are covered by price protection, which is explained on this page.

When does Pimax Black Friday start and end?

The sale starts 16 November and the last day is 5 December. Black Friday itself is 27 November and Cyber Monday is 30 November, but the prices are the same across the whole window. Nothing new lands on the Friday.

Does the JACKZER code work during Pimax Black Friday?

Yes. JACKZER, in capitals, takes 2% off the Black Friday price at checkout. Pimax confirmed the code stacks on the sale, so the after-code figure on this page is what you pay before shipping. If the total hasn't moved, lowercase letters are nearly always why.

Is the Dream Air in the Pimax Black Friday sale?

Yes, and it's the first time the Dream Air has ever been in a public sale. It's the headset I grab when I race in VR.

Is the Dream Air SE reduced for Black Friday?

No. The Dream Air SE has no price cut this year. The free shipping during the sale is the whole saving on it, so the sale dates don't change what the headset itself costs.

What is Pimax price protection?

Cover for an early order. From 1 November, an order placed through the links on this page is eligible; from 9 November the store covers every order itself. It runs to the day before the sale. If the Black Friday price turns out lower, you contact Pimax Support with your order number and they refund the difference, as store credit or cash, under their policy. It's between you and Pimax.

I bought early and the price dropped. What do I do?

Find your order number, check the Black Friday price in the table on this page, and contact Pimax Support with both. They handle the refund. I can't see your order and I'm not in the middle of it, so go straight to them and keep it factual.

Is shipping free during Pimax Black Friday?

Yes, on headsets, for the whole sale. Pimax say the total saving including shipping reaches $255 on selected models. The headset prices in the table are before shipping, so free shipping comes off on top of what you see.

What about Pimax Cyber Monday?

Same sale, same prices, same code. Cyber Monday is 30 November and the sale runs on to 5 December. There is no separate Cyber Monday deal.

Which Pimax headset would you buy this Black Friday?

For me it's the Dream Air, SLAM version, because I feel weight on long sessions and I stream. If it's your first PCVR headset, the Crystal Light. If field of view is the thing, the Crystal Super with the Ultrawide engine, as long as your GPU is current. The section above goes through each one honestly.

A note on the code

2% off any Pimax headset with JACKZER.

Pimax aren't a channel partner. I have an affiliate code with them, and they've kindly offered a discount code for the community. JACKZER takes 2% off every headset at store.pimax.com, and during Black Friday it comes off the sale price. Not a huge number, but on a headset it's real money. Capitals matter at checkout.

The full how-to, the questions people ask and today's prices are on the Pimax discount code page. Every other code I have, SIMAGIC, Sim-Lab and the rest, is on the discount codes page.

Purchasing items through the affiliate links here will provide commission to the channel at no extra cost to you, which keeps the videos coming to the community! Many thanks - Jack

Before you go

  • The dates and the free shipping come from Pimax's own partner brief. The prices come from their store, read every hour, not from the brief.
  • Price protection is a Pimax policy. Claims go to Pimax Support, not to me, and I can't see your order.
  • Any store link here is an affiliate link. Code JACKZER takes 2% off, and a small commission comes back to the channel at no cost to you.
  • I race in a Dream Air I was lent and later chose over everything else I tried. Read the steer above with that in mind.

I'm Jack. I race, I make videos about it, and I've spent years in the simracing community watching the hardware market grow up around it. Before any of this I was an electrician, so I've always been a tinkerer. I like taking a product apart in my head and asking how it could look better, work better, or just make more sense.

I also studied psychotherapy, which helps me understand what's going on in my own head when I drive, and sometimes helps me explain it in a way that's useful to you too.
